As long as the plugs the reccomended size and heat..provided the saws stock then it should be fine.

Ive messed with platinum plugs and splitfires in apps that werent chainsaws and never saw any change in result.

I kinda like NGK plugs in dirtbikes, bosch makes good stuff generally too.

You can change heat settings to do some other stuff thats on a whole diff tangent. We're good for that here, sparkplug threads soon go to whether or not stihl ultra oil has microbes in it that eat carbon buildup.

I agree with JJ,,,

WSR6F in Bosh or NGK BPMR7A (or something close to that,,,) you can get the NGK's @ O'rielly's for a couple of bucks,,,, the Bosh are harder to find,,,,, we charge 2.60 for them,,,

I prefer the Bosh over NGK in air cooled Moto's,,,,,, NGK in water cooled?????

Go figure!!!!!
