I just bought a tach and started playing with it. I took the Sachs 116 out and ran it and it showed like 11,900-12,000 RPM at full tilt. It had a beautiful "Flutter" on top end, so I'm assuming its close. Does anyone know for sure how many rpm it should turn?
My 357XP also got on the tach, and that turned 13,600, so I fattened it up till it came closer to 13,000. Is that kinda close?
Thanks!

As long as the spark plug is not burning white you are safe, but you should ask this question in the "Chainsaw" forum because I am not familiar with this particular saw

OOOPPPPPSSSSSSS! I thought i posted it in the Chainsaw forum. My bad.
If a Moderator could move it, that would be great.
I'll start a different one later if it doesn't get moved.
Sorry. :)
