Which jonsered have I acquired?

Not sure if I'm a proud owner of a legendary jonsered or not. Can anyone tell me the model of this?

I'll leave it to the Jonsered experts from here but it looks a whole lot like a 52.

Both the 52 and the 66/70 saws use a plastic fan on the flywheel. I believe these guys are correct 52. Does it have spark. Cleaning the contacts under the recoil cover can help. Even if they already look shiny they can have a film that prevents good contact.

I have a 521 sitting here and thats what i was thinkin it looked like as well.

That is either a 52 or 52E.....the easiest way to tell is if you can post a clear pic of the spark coil inside the recoil I can tell you for certain. Not a 521 either.....very similar but the flywheel side case half and recoil cover is altogether different than the 52/52E and it also has an alum flywheel/fan as opposed to the black plastic fan of the 52s.
