That is surprisingly cheap for ebay. I can get a 660 half wrap with a 20" bar for about 900 out the door...tack on another 100 bucks for the full wrap, longer cover and 36" bar and it seems like a decent deal....still about 100 bucks under MSRP and most places seem to be going to MSRP these days

You guys......

You ain't gonna let me make one sale under ANY of my ebay handles...

Why would someone spend this much for a 066 when they can go buy one at the dealer for possibly less? LINK

It is psychological, akin to why people throw away their money at casinos. Eprey has an amazing effect on people; it can separate them from from their money more easily than whiskey and hookers. See the link below for an illustration.

It's ebay.......... and they have too win.....!! IMO

It's amazing how people can get caught up in the thrill of the auction. People don't care how much they pay anymore. It's not about winning per say, but they just can't stand to lose. It's like a disease.

That auction, in the first few lines of the description, is very misleading. It leads you to believe that you are bidding on both saws, but the q & a at the bottom is the only place that tells you that they are being sold seperately. I really hope some of the bidders noticed that...

If you notice this seller has 3 feedbacks. That was a little worrisome to me. I know I sound like a conspiracy theorist or something...nice story though about the closet and everything. I was watching and thought it went a little high...

I hope it was legit-for the winner's sake.

LoL!

from the looks of the stuff they buyer has been buying hes an AS member.

Strange, the winner bought the pair. Looked at his bid history and it looks like he's hoarding chain too. Got to about 9 loops before I stopped counting. All sorts of chain sharpening gadgets, a ts360 carb kit....

I wonder what this guys angle is...?

Just yesterday I asked my dealer what his price on a 660 was and he quoted me right around $1050 plus tax.

I got my 660 for $870.00 w/o bar and chain. All said and done it was $975.00 out the door. I paid $175.00 for my 066 and it is a stronger runner than my 660 as of right now......thats cause it's modded though.:greenchainsaw:  :chainsaw:

Where at, I priced a few yesterday (new) and all were at 1050.00 not including tax. The 460 was 850.00 (-) tax.
