Several site sponsors sell Chinese aftermarket parts, and many A.S. members talk about the knock-off parts they buy on eBay. There have been many threads about people buying knock-off saws, and grinders, etc.

Why jump on this guy? He may have had a clumsy start here, but if he pays his sponsor fees, and he is upfront with the description of what he is selling, people can decide what and where they want to buy.

I have seen a lot of posts from Canadian members complaining about problems getting stuff from US vendors. This could be an option for them.

Geez guys, No bodys forcing you to register for the saw or buy from him. You don't want the saw, don't register for it. simple as that. Also all those parts that are ordered from Stihl, you think they come from Germany? Now I'm not crazy about all the china stuff either, but he ain't the only one outsourcing everything to china or japan. Hell even some Harley Davidson parts are made in Japan.

I give the OP credit for admitting its a knock instead of passing it off as the real thing. I've seen many threads where someone bought a what they thought was a 090 or 070 for big $$$ only to find out its a knockoff. Also i've seen many buying parts and saws from Hetzl (sp?) which is right off the boat from China. Don't want it, don't enter to win it.

I wonder if they know where their Sugihara and Tsumura bars come from.

it seems these guys want nothing to do with this deal sawparts. funny thing is that they're probably all hoping they win that saw still. knock them off the list and send the saw to me. i'll test it for ya. one thing about AS that really drives me nuts are members that say they don't like the drama, newbie answers, or newbies arguing with stuck up veteran members who think they know all but then those same members feed off the drama and add to it whenever and however they can. then you see a member who joins and right away it is very obvious that he knows one heck of alot more then most here but then those members i speak of don't like his newbie answers and stir up **** with the guy even if his answers are solid facts. there's been alot of ******** about new members arguing with guys who have 10,000 posts in the past and i don't agree with it. if your a dumbass, your a dumb ass and it will stick out. i can see it in alot of members new and old but i don't say nothing cause people will be how they are and i truelly do not care if we have a few dummy's around. i absolutely despise the drama queens though and there are a few here in particular who are on my ignore list. they are all members with high post counts as well. a guy with 10,000 posts must know more then me just cause of that number. ignore the fact that most here started with saws just before they joined and i've been doing this since 96. i've seen repair work done at shops by guys who have 35 years expereince and couldn't believe what they call fixed right. just relieving some frustration. AS will always be this way and i've accepted that. i won't mention any names and i know the people i'm talking about won't even realize it's them because for a guy to hate one thing but do the exact thing he hates he must be in extreme denial.

Well guys......let me say something here.

There are some very good AM parts out there.......and there are some that are pure crap.

I've looked over these guys site a couple of times.......there are no Meteor pistons, no Caber rings, no brand names on anything at all. The names Husqvarna and Stihl are plastered everywhere in large letters and pictures.....and the words "QUALITY AFTERMARKET REPLACEMENT" in small letters in the description. How they can use the OEM logos without Stihl's lawyers knocking on the door is weird to me.

Now.......look at the crap Weedeaterman has put up with for selling AM top ends.......and he has gone way over and above to make sure the parts he sells are of a good quality.

Wade in all you want......but be ready to be questioned.

Who here has tested these guys parts?????

Seems us Randy's draw attention... How are things at the "Saw Palace"?

Busy.......but I'm gonna get outta here for a few days. I'm gonna go see mom, and fish in the ocean. I'll be leaving early Friday, and will be back Tuesday night.

How's tricks out your way my friend?
