Wind blew down Oak.

Here is a Oak I cut up for a friend that was blown down here in a series of wind storms.

looks like he's standing on the rock or a ladder leaning on the rock..and hopefully out of the fall path of the tree. And, yes, the second pic shows that the trunk stayed put anyhow when the branch was cut.

Pretty wood, that garry oak. Would have been nice to have gotten it milled.

I m not really right under it, I had room behind me to bail if needed, but I didn't think it was going to fall down after cutting that piece, and it didn't.

YES!!!

Yes it was nice wood, however he wanted it cut into rounds for firewood. It would have been real nice milled.
