It's that time of year again
So what are the prices for a cord (128 cu ft) of real seasoned cut, split. and delivered in your area?
Around NE CT there are several hacks selling green as seasoned for $150 - $165 a short cord. The guys that I know that are in it for the long haul are in the $185 to $200 range.
There's not a lot of logging going on now so I have a feeling prices are going to head up $15 or $20 a cord in a few months as the supply of tops and cull logs dry up.
I'm giving my repeat customers the same price as last year at $200, and what's left over I'm covering and sitting on 'til the new year when true seasoned and dry gets scarce.
My 2 cents
