Ok welcome I see you are new and your question is a bit vague.
I assume you mean logs and check with saw mills in your area if
any! If you just mean firewood you may look in to advertising in
a newspaper or If you have a lot of hickory a barbeQ joint will
usually pay good for good wood green.

well i dont think saw mills would be interseted in the types of timber in the area im cutting theres a few pines and other ones im not sure of. Is there a certian type of tree saw mills prefer?
 
Generally speaking, straight ones! As to what species, that depends on what the mill specialises in.

Marketing timber is a pretty specialist thing to do. Prices are not great on the whole unless you happen to have access to a particular niche market, so keeping your overheads down becomes key. If you want more help you're going to need to be specific about species, form, size, location and ease of transport.
