Evening:
Got an old Woodchuck chipper that still works good but I see in the owner's manual that there was a fan or blower option that was available when new. Probably mounted some way onto the opposite side of the driven drum shaft and served two purposes. One to assist in the blowing out of chips and leaves and whatnot. The other to probably draw into the throat of the chipper, all the dust that is generated when attempting to chip a dead piece of whatever crazy piece of wood you happen to grab ahold of. This unit belongs to my brother and when helping him, we have both commented that it'd be very nice to have some way to eliminate all that dust that chokes the daylights out of us. Naturally, I'm not looking for anything brand new but could anyone help with location of an old junkyard that might have such a thing and would part with it? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Tim
