I will be finishing off the inside of my pole barn soon and I would like to put a wood burner out there, the barn is 28'x32', I am in the market for a used unit, will be insulating the celling and side walls, what would be a good used unit to buy.

Thanks TedMI

For a barn, get a 200,000 btu potbelly stove, or a barrel/double barrel stove. They are ugly, but you won't need no insulation... also, you can probably open the doors and still be broiling... :D

+2 on the double barrel stove. We used one in a uninsulated building and it still kept it workable in the winter. If your building is insulated it will cook ya out. We used oil barrels to make ours cause the oil barrels have thicker metal

i have a friend who made one from a 250 gallon fuel oil tank... you can stuff huge pieces in it...
without insulation it may condensate inside the building....:hmm3grin2orange::hmm3grin2orange:
