What is the usuall maintence yall do on your xt55s? Ive noticed the bucket aint as smooth as it use to be. it kinda pulses when going straight up and down. its just the bucket not the boom, like a leveling chain maybe??

The basket shaft is usually the culprit in your case. Chains can also cause issues if the are dry and have frozen links.

Spraying down the basket shaft area with PB Blaster or equivalent can help but more often than not we need to remove the basket shaft to clean and relube.

A lot of manufacturers are using non-lube bushings these days which cuts down on maintenance and can extend service life but sometimes we end up with situations like this.

I would recommend having the leveling checked. The penetrating oil may work but if there is something else wrong it could pose a safety hazard.

You may have damage to the basket shaft bushing in the upper boom. There is a repair kit available from Terex to fix this.

I would have it checked by a reputable aerial lift repair facility. If you let it go too long it could damage the upper boom.
