Year of manufacture of this 041 FB

Any one able to give me a rough age of this 041. Have tried Stihl UK and local dealers and going on badge style could be around '65 ? Serial no 9655351 Thanks for any help and thanks again to cjcocn for help on manuals !

Wow. That thing looks almost new. My FIL got one brand new in '78-'79 I believe. It was the FB model like yours. No AV. It's seen a lot of use and is still running strong today.

What I have hear with me says the 041 FB was produced from 1976-1986.
I dont think any of the 041 models were made in 1965. Unless they waited for later delivery to the USA.

Just realised made mistake should read 68 which was from local dealer going on badge style ?
