You know what I miss about my Dolmar 420 and 5105 vs 550xp?

They were the best starting saws ever, almost always 2 pull cold starts. Warm starts were quick 6" pull of the rope. I would do it all the time to show people.

The Autotune 550xp just does not like to cold start at all, 15+ pulls at times just to get a pop.

My 346 starts on the second pull everytime. Now you mentioned it even my 562 and 2260 start faster, with less pulls than any of my 550's.

My 346xp is 2 pulls cold most of the time. 562 w/ AT is no more than 3-4 pulls.

Well that is swell since it has only 25 tanks through it. I have not changed the starting procedure, but it was better when new in December.
