You'd think an Echo bar should fit an Echo saw.

Good old drill press from the F.I.L. is handy.

Little 16" x .325 bar on a 550EVL but the chain was too short. Besides I had put on an 8 tooth rim sprocket to get the chain speed up.

Not wanting to go to the expense of adding drivers to the chain I just drilled new adjuster holes and oil holes. Fits rather close but works. 55cc pulls it very nice.

It happens that different models of the same brand use different set-ups, and some times it also vary with time. You need to know the exact dl count that your combinarion takes, and can't just go by brand and "inches" (called bar and chain length).
