    Jonsered 930

I am by no means a Jonsered expert.. but with that, customers that actually bought the 920s with 930 air filtration, the way they currently have them, says a lot about how things were sold to them. they are not confused "old people", its simply fact of how they received them. Yes they most...

Old Husqvarna saw series CD and SE

Capacitive Discharge (CD) "SE" is short for a Swedish word that means "professional" . They used the SE identifier on their professional (high end) sewing machines as well (wife has one, NOT me).. Don't forget English speakers.. Somethings don't translate letter for letter since the words are...

Identify this muffler if you can

Found out what is for. Its from an A65 Husqvarna. ~1968 ish. I also have a NOS P&C to go with it. Notice the sealant on the outside of cylinder transfer ports.. look at how perfect the casting marks were for the "MAHLE" and '48ZD3" the A65 cylinder and B65 cylider were nothing like the 65s...

Identify this muffler if you can

Gotta give me more than that. an IPL or something. I looked at all of Partners IPLs and they have some that look similar but not close. this muffer has ZERO bolts that go through the face of the muffler.. the nuts must be tightened on studs that come out of the cylinder.

Identify this muffler if you can

its not a 180 280 380 or 480. it has something to do with the 65/77 husqvarna here is a pic i found for an A65; NO bolt holes.. must have nuts on the rear side. ********************************/phpbb3/download/file.php?id=33142

Identify this muffler if you can

Husqvarna made a 65 Cutoff saw as well. wonder if they used a different cylinder for that. just looked through these IPLs with no luck. and some of these are OLD. http://rottmansales.com/IPLs/partner_ind/

Identify this muffler if you can

It appears to be NOS for an A65 or A77. I do not have an IPL that shows either saw of that era, just after 1972. I did watch a few youtube videos and they show an A65 with NO bolt holes going through the muffler which means that it must be bolted from the back. and due to the bottom bolt lug...

    husqvarna 242xp and 238se difference?

I understand what you're saying but at the same time the mfg cost versus performance the consumer is taking it in the shorts in the end. 262xp vs 261 is another perfect example Sent from my VS995 using Tapatalk

    husqvarna 242xp and 238se difference?

Its funny if you think about it. How much $$$ did husqvarna save, per saw, by going to open port 246 cylinder? Probably $5.00.. Comical. Sent from my VS995 using Tapatalk

    husqvarna 242xp and 238se difference?

Yes, bolts right on. the 246 topend (open port) performs better than a 42 special topend (open port).. the 242xp topend (closed port) performs best out of the bunch.

Husqvarna 281 288 hightop cover wanted

it didnt sell for what you see the price on the link. eBay places the price of what the seller ended it at. if he listed at 399.99 and stopped selling it, but listed it at $1,000.00, it will show that they all sold for $1,000.00... how do i know this? because its my auction.
