Stihl ms150t seems to be a spendy saw for what little you get. Weight, power, small bar n chain and just a small saw in general. Hope this topic is helpful to anyone who may think of dropping coin on this Lil piece of plastic.
Working on a muffler mod for my echo cs510 oem exhaust cost way to much. So I had a vote done last fall and most of the people said pipe it. So time to do what most all of you chose for this saw.

Just wondering if any of you carvers use any cheep 110v electric saws for carving and what saws can be fitted with a carve dime nose kit? If you can list a model of saw and a carving kit that would be great info. Some of my neighbors are getting peeved with my saws. So I'd like to tone it down a bit

I have a echo cs 510 and the muffler cracked where it mates to the jug.

Option 2. Take the pipe off the Poulan 46cc and make a new exhaust flange.

I have a echo cs 510 slug n jug in great shape ran great and made good power. But the exhaust canister cracked around the mounting surface of the jug. In my opinion the old can is not worth fixing. I have 2 options in mind.
Option 1. Buy a new or used stock muffler and do a muffler mod on it...
This is the original echo safety chain for my top handle it still cuts good and il use it till a tooth goes flying off. Glad i still have 6 other chains to run on my saw. Luckily its not a big saw or this chain would be in the trash.
