Go with 3/8, that saw has enough power to pull and 16" 3/8. For chain go with the Stihl RSC, if you have clean wood.
Stick with the .325 , 33 RSC is way to much chain for that little saw.Doesn't matter if you only run a 14" with the 33RSC. Narrow kerf it with Oregon 20LP . [full chisel round ground .325 chain].
You have lost your :censored: mind. Have you ever used a NE346? 3/8" too much for a 346, what is this world coming to??
LOL, still talking like a dumb azzed kid eh 2K.
The 346 was designed for the .325, why would you put a wide cutting, heavy 33RSC on it. I used to run Stihl .325 full chisel on my 044[cut like crazy and smooth]. The Oregon 20LP is a good choice of chain for the 346XP with only 50cc.
It doesn't take a kid to know that saw can pull a 3/8 and share the same chain as the big saws. You have proven you were a clueless idiot about the Stihl chain and the .325 on a 044 says it even louder, LOL.
Look at my sig, I got bigger saws to run the full sized 3/8. My 044 runs a 18" bar and the .325 is a nice smooth fast chain for this application. Try it some time before you open your inexperienced mouth.
Don't aggravate 2000ssm6 or he will throw running 009's at you.
I still never figured out what 2000 meant when he called me a '' adult horse hockey'', from our our old rant of the Stihl/Oregon thread. That was about the last thing he said to me before succumbing to what ever he was drinking.LOL.
I say stick with .325. 3/8 even pulls down my ported 260. Proved it yesterday with a timer.
That meant you are full of ****. I and others agree......
I may not have cut 2 million trees but do have enough experience to know what works best.
