Yes, there's a reason that bidder turned out to be a non-payer. Wife and son bid the thing up not knowing about saws, and when the husband/dad finally saw what they were doing, he probably had a mild heart attack.

Those Cannon bars aren't cheap I'd imagine about 300-500$ depending on where he got it.

I remember back in the 80's when you could go into any of the smaller loggin' towns 'round here and hit the pawn shops... 090's 075's 076's 056's could be had in very good condition for $250 bucks... wish I could time warp...

I'm surprised that there isn't a handle on the end of the bar for a second person!

i believe the bar was just for the store - as a show piece.. someone place tell me that a bar that long would NEED to be a 2 person setup!!
