Figured this would make a good thread. What is that one saw in your herd that was made for your hands? I'm not talking sentiment, but that one saw that there is just some special chemistry with? Doesn't have to be a daily user, or even a go to saw... just one that seems to be made for your hands.
Mine is the Stihl 031AV...

I love to run the 660. If it's 16" or bigger tree, I go for it. I guess I'm used to the weight. I know I don't have to hold it long because it rips thru anything it touches!

Husqvarna 340.

It made made me smile, because it never let me down. :)

Laugh all you want :)

My dolmar 5100s. I revived it after the last owner ran straight gas threw her. I have less then 100$ in it. Its my one saw I will never sell. Oh wait I forgot that was all my saws.

Favorite saw

I wood have to say that my 028 is my favorite saw. I bought it new in West Lyden NY 1985.The saw has never let me down. About a year ago I put a new gas line and a carb kit into it.It stihl ran perfect but I did the change anyway.I have used the saw to cut ice off roofs, clear trees and brush out of streams. The saw has been under water! Anyway my trusty 028 is the one that is special to me, Ken

Partner 5000 plus, I have had one or used one for over 30 years, solid, reliable, advanced for its time, great ergonomics ( before ergonomics were the thing ) still looks and feels like a real saw, not a all plastic box.

You know the great thing about working in a chainsaw shop...you dont have the trial and error of buying saws and then relizing they are too heavy, too underpowered, too fragile....

So each of the saws I currently own were accuired with a special purpose in mind...

I like them all and they all feel great in my hands...

All that being said I grab the 361 and 55 (original not rancher) more than the other saws it seems, but I also cut more wood that seems sized right for those saws than I do the really small or really big...

Yeah, this is a good idea for a thread.

For me, Solo 651pro. Handles are a little farther apart, and the rear handle is a little fatter than on my 2153 and 346, so it just feels a bit more comfortable to me. Don't use it that much anymore, but whenever I pick it up, it's like shaking hands with an old friend.

My 026 circa 1989 sweet n balanced not a new fangle buzz box. Ive soxed a many a gum with this charming old girl. Reckon I owe her some the $50.000 shes made me.
Using her with some 20 year olds the other day heck she was older than them.
