So I guess what you're saying is I shouldn't post the ad from the guy by me that wanted $300 for the non-running David Bradley.

...Not if you don't want other fellers here (who live in far away places) trying to send him 'reasonable' offers on that saw. I don't think that DB would get quite the out of state interest that the 895 would however....:msp_rolleyes:

I saw that DB listing you spoke of. I search the Sac area CL listings too. Got my McCulloch 77 from your area.

As for e-bay owning Craigslist... Unless something has changed, they only own about 25% of the site, so they don't have a "controlling" interest. At least that's what it was a few years ago. Believe me, if they controlled the site, nothing would be free.

Yep GoRving, you're on the mark on that post! Ebay tried gaining control (the slime bags they are) but lost in court.

no manual oiler, so...

298xp
480cd
380
285

etc etc...

although, it does have a nice, decent sized clutch

So without the tag the only way to find out is measuring the jug? Or Ill just pm you when I get better pics so you can do the hard work for me????:msp_biggrin::msp_biggrin:

I have no use for a saw this huge, but this might be worth a drive for someone.

stihl 880 mag chainsaw
Stihl MS 880 42" Chainsaw, Excellent Condition - eBay (item 200586495556 end time Mar-23-11 18:22:46 PDT)

Just saw this listed on fleabay, wonder if it's the same guy, I presume so since it lists them both from Charlotte, and what are the odds that there are 2 excellent cond 880's for sale from there? If so, it'd be nice if he took down his CL listing, it makes him look foolish. So many ppl forget to take them down, and they only go away when they time out. I hate that. Pay Attention, People...

Pro Mac 800 on ebay

10 hrs or so to go and upto $530, should blow the dust off mine and sell it.

Mac 4600

[email protected]

I noticed a Mac 4600 listed on my local CL for $100. The owner says it starts but dies after a bit. Claims it was stored for a long period with fuel in it. The saw looks to be nearly new and has very little scratches/scuffs. The bar has almost 100% logo and paint.

So what is this saw worth if its running well? I don't have a clue...

Regards,
