Let's see what we can do with the RandyMac picture.:hmm3grin2orange:

'Bout as bad as the evilbay sellers.:msp_thumbdn:

Look at all the toys in the background.

I would say this is like show buisness and TV. It's all about product placement and subliminal advertizing.

He is trying to throw us off with the mcugly in the pic but the background seems to draw are attention.

True Fuel, Jim Beam, Havana Cigars, Homelite Motor oil could all be behind this ad campaign. :msp_wink:

Hey guys got my first Homelite this week. An SXL 922. Fired up great and I was stoked. Then went to mess with it today and carb box had a ton of gas in it and it was leaking outta the trigger assembly...sucks. So a carb kit is in my future. A 28" bar and chain is on the way! Im trying too pick up a few saws I think are cool.

Well found out the 922 needs the nut I guess on the end of the bar adjuster piece. Is it a specialty piece or just a regular nut?

I really don't feel comfortable about the current situation I find the Homie thread in:rolleyes2:

Homelite ZIP

so i didn't wanna run thru hours of threads so i'll just post up.

several years ago i came across a big blue homelite zip. big fat bar and chain. i got it running but wot needed just a lil' choke action to keep it "smooth". it's very, very loud as it seems the stuffing has been blown outta the muffler. it idled and revved just fine.

i put it on a shelf and haven't fooled with it.

what do you fellas know about it?
you can pm me or i'll keep an eye on this thread...thanks, dohn.

The stuffing in the muffler is really funny, I laughed at that one. Fatten up the high just a schosch and it should fix your wot issue. They made these saws loud so that everyone would know you were cutting wood with a Zip.

To fill my big saw fix, there will be another red saw here in the shop... I will share once it arrives. I will say that the brand starts with "H", and is 6+ cubes :). I will try to keep you guys posted...
