Road and Track's Peter Egan wrote a column about this a few years ago and I thought it would be fun for AS members.
The basic idea is that you add up all of the cylinders, in all of the saws, trucks and equipment that you own and you come up with your cylinder count. All of the cars, trimmers, tractors, splitters, boats, ATV's, whatever. It's a test of manhood. The higher your cylinder count.........
A couple of rules so everyone is using the same yardstick:
The wife's car doesn't count.
All cylinders must be in running condition; blown up saws don't count.
Dealers like myself can't count store inventory.
Auto engines must not only be running, but must actually be in a vehicle. (doesn't have to be registered though)
So, what kind of cylinder counts are out there?
Me? I'm a 45, 7 of them saws.
Should be interesting. Maybe even Sap will smile!
Guess I should list them like you guys are doing.........
Dodge-8
Jeep-6
Maxima-6
1960 Olds 88-8
Saws-7
Exmark-1
Cub 128-1
mowers-2
trimmers-2
Snowblower-1
Red Max blower-1
Husky mini-tiller-1
Log splitter-1
And I forgot the Dolmar 309 cutoff the first time, so I'm a 46
