I've run 50:1 synthetic in my 076 a K100 cart & everything else i own since around 1991, i have a an 090 in the process of being rebuilt & have no hesitation in running it on it as well once it is up & running. I've never had a 2T meltdown, but i could have if i didn't stop once the saw seemed to go out of tune, they don't just jump out of tune for no reason, something is usually mechanically wrong.Does anyone actually run 50:1 in older saws like an 056? If I remember correctly the recommended ratio was 16 or 32:1. Or is it just on newer saws?
