Yes I was asking for your thoughts on this, thanks for your reply. I just thought your post could have interpreted by some that you could have been advocating this was a option for others who would by from someplace like Lowes and am glad to hear that was not the intent.

Nothing implied good bad or otherwise.
I am not sure I follow you. In defense of my dad he went to Lowe’s with hat-in-hand, not expecting a thing. Hoping they would replace the top end on his dime but fully expecting to walk out with what he came in with. What he got, and I am not saying this should be a standard level of service, is a full refund. What Lowe’s got in return was a whole lot more of his money in other purchases. Most people just want to be treated with dignity and respect.

I mentioned I prefer dealing with small business. I will pay more (with in reason) in doing so. But whoever it is that treats me with dignity and respect are the ones that get my business.

I am not sure what you mean when say “could have been advocating this...” Are you suggesting that I might be orchestrating a flash mob to buy saws from Lowe’s, straight gas them, walk back in and demand full refund, in the hopes of causing irreparable harm and trigger the collapse of the retail giant? Sounds like a future South Park episode.

I must really be bored. Peace out.

I'm going to venture a guess here, but being the dead of winter along with reading the pages few pages, not a lot of people are cutting wood right now.

Yep, Eleven pages about a guy buying a Box Stock Husqvarna 455 Rancher, from Lowe's is a pretty good sign of an epidemic of Cabin Fever ;):(

I don't understand what you don't follow in my quote that you posted. Seems easy to understand.

I'm glad you explained it better.

To the OP, make sure that whatever you do that you run the correct premix at the optimum ratio. The good folks here will help you in your quest of that knowledge.

We're a Helpful bunch here, usually try to help each other out, though we sometimes disagree on the Specifics of that help, especially when it comes to the color of the saws, or the length of the bars;), but most of the time the Heart is in the right place, even if the opinions differ:)

I was trying to light it up with an oil discussion. Let the newcomer see a real throw down. I see my bait wasn’t enticing enough. But, yes, folks here have been very helpful to me over the years, and entertaining at that! For that I thank you all!
