Ok the 266 big bore kit is am but made in Italy. The chrome job looks perfect. This cylinder needed chamfering on the ports. Inspection on the piston the arrow shows pointing towards the exhaust which is correct. But below the arrow is the pin for the ring gap. You can’t run the ring gap pass an open port. It will self destruct. You have to check everything.

When I tested a new designed 2100 cylinder for Husqvarna r&d they did the samething with running the ring gap passed a open port. We turned the piston around to run the test. A few dealers who ran this test didn’t catch it.
The new cylinder had better performance and gas consumption.
I tore my srm210 trimmer apart for a new ring last night and noted the pin is on a port...hasnt caused any problems in 13 hard seasons.

Which port? It never goes down that far to pass the opening on the intake port. I put the ring on and installed it and the ring gap goes by the exhaust opening and clicks when it goes towards tdc passed the port. It will self destruct if I assemble it that way.

Burgers done yet? Two 1/4 pounders, with cheese burn them, large fry, Diet Coke.

Talk about oil ratio is anyone running these cheap cylinders at 50:1? Sounds like all the farmtec saws are recommended mostly at 25:1. Most run them oil lean and they seeze.

Mine run at 40, but I was running at 50 for a while. I went to 40 because of my can size, so I didn't have to keep doing the math. They seem to run fine for me on either.... You have to keep in mind there are a lot of guys who run them that don't understand how to tune them, so seizure happens from poor adjustment as well. You can't just immediately blame the cylinder.

???? I'm sure with some research you could find a Husky rep that says this ****'s the same as the stuff from Sweden.
Now you are just baiting me.. and you are miles away from what I actually said. My comment was that my opinion is that Stihl is in cahoots with manufacturers like huztl based on the fact that I spoke with the representative who is in charge of the fraudulent activities division of STIHL and he seemingly doesn't care. Don't change my words to benefit your argument. I have never been in contact with anyone from Husqvarna. But they obviously don't care either, considering there is already a plan to put the 395 and the 288 into production.

Okay- now it is an oil thread.................

He's your guy for sure. He's built over 40 Chaws, all ran great. He builds them 99% or so from Charts.
40!?!?..... Hell I've built 45 stihlinese 660s alone! And 31 chusk 372s.... I'm well beyond 40 pal. I can go back through my vids and get you an exact number if necessary on all of the other Ch'its I've built if you want.....i like how you use Chaws and Charts though.... Funny **** right there.

Yah. Obviously. That's why all of the Chihl parts are blue now. Which foil hat theory is more plausible, that they're cool with it, or that going after chinese copycats in China under Chinese law is next to impossible?

I don't light the world or anything but my feeble math skills tell me 76 is over 40.

Figured if you were going to mock my quantity, you should have the numbers
