And when I want to move that "something", it's a good thing I have this "something" to move it!

Right down the road or wherever I want to move it.

Got a call today about a town tree on a house. I have seen a lot of tree damage in my life but never saw an almost 2 foot diameter branch pop out of a pine tree this bad. Heavy wet snow caused this to break off.

You know you can't burn pine, your house will burn down šŸ˜§ .
That is a big branch.

Like I said before still doing things outside . Finished off the gate for the dump . Bought some expanded steel yesterday to keep the small bits in . View attachment 1050451View attachment 1050452
Looks good Mark, but a little light if you wanted to haul split firewood in there.
Did it have the heavy swinging doors on it before.
What ramps are those, I want to buy some nice aluminum ones, my steel ones are heavy as heck!

How long would it take to run it over to my place šŸ˜¬.
I had my beast of burden out today for a nice session, got this little stump pulled out, and a lot of other smaller trees dropped and the stumps pulled or pushed them over and diced them up. Had a nice bonfire too, sorry no pics, but here's an emoji :blob2: lol.

The stump was right in the deep part of my pond.

That tree house tree looks crazy

It's a deer blind from the previous owner, it's falling apart.
That's one of the things I hope to start working on cleaning up out there next.
Looks like a cherry tree? I have one I'm gonna cut down next to my deer blind that's growing just like that.

Yep, and I if I remember correctly there's metal in the base. I'd have to look at it again to see the diameter, but you won't get your arms all the way around either stem. I may do a bit more out there tomorrow, if I do I'll try to remember to get a few pics. It's either the largest or second largest tree on our property.
That's too funny.

Iā€™m comfortable with it for rounds . See guys hauling with no gate all the time . It had the heavy ass tailgate type and it gets heavier every year to take it on an off.
The ramps are from my Aluma trailer I made some brackets so I can load my Kubota on

Yea I cut a nice cherry down while clearing my food plot a few years ago now my dad's hooked on burning cherryšŸ¤£ he said every cherry tree is destined for his pleasant hearth woodburner šŸ˜†

If I can't just slide mine around to where I need them. I have no interest in lifting the whole thing, but I'm fine with one end. I've been using a 5th wheel pull bar to move them around on my trailer, they are ridiculously heavy duty, as in Robs dozer probably wouldn't flex them and they are 7' long if I remember correctly.
I saw a 6.5x12 aluma trailer the other day, I was very disappointed in the quality looking at it. The one that I had that was what this one most likely replaced was a beast for an aluminum trailer that size, I kinda miss that trailer. It's tough when you don't have enough trailers lol.

Bring the truck and a trailer, even a few saws, I plan on cutting that one and the one that's closer in the picture, it's probably at least 24" way smaller than either stem. There's gonna be some collateral damage for sure as they are good sized trees and theres nowhere clear to drop them. But I'm going to continue clearing the trees that aren't save trees if I don't build a pond down there, so it will get more open. Regardless, they need to go :chainsaw: . The big one is probably 3-5 cord for both stems. I give a lot of cherry to my neighbor, and he gives me the black locust; BL is great in a wood burner, not the best smelling in a fireplace :baba:, and it pops a lot.

Ran across a white oak that uprooted and fell across the road while we were on a Saturday cruise. Needless to say I went home and came back with some firewood tools. I got the branches cut up with the 261 before I ran out of daylight. Brought them home and will have to take the truck and 400 another day, probably 35ā€™ of 16ā€ diameter stem left. May even cut a log for milling. C4637A64-5B4E-44F4-8F65-F65463DE2722.jpeg

Keep me posted on when your ready

Whenever you are lol.
It's gonna be a lot of work. I have two options for dropping the main stem, the one that comes off to the left I'll have to look over again as I don't think I can just let it go the way it's leaning as it may reach my shed.
