Don't sweat it!!!
most of the old 044 10MM wristpin saws ran and cut like (EDIT)really well,,,especially after a muffler Mod,,,,,Hey if it runs good,,,,(EDIT)before you do anything else or spend any more money check the crank bearings for wear by applying a little radial pressure to the ends of the shaft,,, you can check the fly wheel side just by pressing on the outer edge of the flywheel,,,,,if the bearings are good you should see no decernable deflection on either end,,,, if they have wear and you can see it move radially,,,,,welll thats another story,,,,(I have run them for up to a year with a very slight deflection,,,before changing as long as it runs and cuts good get some use out of it,,,, if it passes the crank bearings test switch your premix to one of the good synthetics,,,, Ultra is a good place to start if you have it available if not Amsoil 100 or Mobil2T are just as good,,,IMHO run good quality Hi-test (Premium fuel) or at a minimum,, get a factory Dual port Muffler and adjust your carb,, service the clutch drum rollerbearing sharpen the chain Inspect/check/service the bar, (clean the goove, clean the oilholes, dress rails as needed and go sling some chips!!!!! If you dont have the time/tools/resources to do the repairs yourself,,,,,,,well that too is another story
