That is small spline, 261 is bigger splined.

Then get the bigger splined one.
I have a 3/8 picco setup for a 261, it runs smooth, but I like standard 3/8 on them better, especially my ported one with a 20".

If you get low, you can bring your wheelbarrow over to I-96 and grab a couple loads.
MDOT has almost got everything cleaned up now, just need to remove a bunch of lifted stumps and grind a bunch that are still n the ground, all the wood on the shoulders and in the median is now cleaned up. Makes me feel good that I got gone what I did here in such a short time, and they've had multiple crews working on it for 3.5 weeks now .

I am many weeks behind here... Dealing with family affairs... missed out on early bear season completely.... No end in sight...

Anyhow I finally identified the trees that gave me problems by taking down the utility pole. They are named "Tree of heaven." Called by some "Chinese Sumac." That name is for a good reason as it's an invasive from China that was introduced here in North America in the late 18th century. Various sources all have the same theme: "Due to its extensive root system and resprouting ability, tree-of-heaven is difficult to control." We're going to focus our control efforts on the areas around the houses, utility poles and solar array and consider the rest of the "infected" forested area a loss. The flowers are a very light green and look yellow under some lighting conditions.

Maybe you could plant some oriental bittersweet to choke them out .

My buddy stopped by today and scrounged up a couple loads of wood, he has a lot more out there to get yet, especially if he takes this size load every time .
Black locust, cherry, and a small stick of HVBW and a stick of hickory. You know he's a good friend if he's getting BL .
