If I go I will leave my wife here, with the gun, to make sure you DON"T come around. She has been after me to get a big dog, for when I am away on business. I guess it is time...

Anyway, your collection is looking great, Tom. I have not been adding many Stihls lately, just mostly cast-offs from folks thinking they are helping. I now have 4 Poulan junk versions of the 2550...

What a shame that a company that used to make good stuff is reduced to this garbage.
I have a Mac Timber Bear!!! It isn't even yellow and black, but brown and black. I guess they were even ashamed to use the Mac colors...

And some other odds and ends.
I don't remember if I posted these yet. Need a clutch for both of them.

So now I am finishing up the deck and letting the saw piles sit. Better come on over before the Spring rush hits full force.

wow my wife would kill me before i got that bad!! But I can see how far I get before she does he he he. just curious Thall & stihl1 do you guys own a saw shop or are you both that far in your CAD that its terminal. thats alot of saws for firewood, I just strive to be there one day!!! lol

Firewood. What do you mean firewood? You mean we are supposed to use these saws to cut firewood! That would get them dirty! Are you crazy??? I don't have time to clean up a saw after cutting firewood with it. I have to spend several nights a week starting them up in a rotation basis to keep the oil and fuel mixed up and fresh, to verify that all RPM specs are set right, and to verify just how much more power will a 5th pipe welded in the the muffler give. Firewood!

Actually, Mr. Woodcock, I just enjoy getting them, playing with them, and every now and then actually cutting up some wood!

Ya know things are gonna be in full swing in a couple more weeks. I've got a ton of inventory ready to go out the door when the landscapers start cutting grass and the wood chucks start cleaning up. I'm gonna give you a shout Tuesday at your work by way of E-mail. Its time for me a make a trip.

Woodcock you might say Eddie works in probly the best saw shop in the whole country. He has several billion dollars worth of equipment right outside his door. Me, I just work in a small Stihl shop sellling and repairing Stihl.

Eddie and me go back a abit, you might say I owe him alot for what I do for a living. Its still no excuse for him to rub in his collection though, he gotsa payyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy,LOLOLOL

why do these guys need more than 1 or maybe 2 saws? I used my 038 for years as my only saw and after it blew up I got a 441. I dont see the need for more than one saw. I could see maybe a big saw and a little saw, but some of you guys have 10-15+. I dont get it.

Its just a work related hobby. Some people spend thousands of dollars hopping up cars, some spend big money raising their four wheel drives 3 feet off the ground, everyone has some sort of hobby, ours is saws. Alot of the saws you see are left behinds, rebuilt and added to the collection. Its not as costly as you might think but true it is addictive.

Naaaaaaaaaaaa I getem pretty cheap ole boy. I do admit I picked up a freebie backpack blower last week that cost more to fix than I thought. It surprised me with a bad crank bearing once I got it ripped apart. I gotta go see the guy I weaseled that blower out of and complain,LOL
