I was wondering how long a bar I could run on this....I have heard on hear that 3:1 ratio will work so i figure at 72cc a 24in bar would be ok...is that full or skip...thanks..btw its a MAGII, not a magi

Welcome to this site. Novice myself. 3/1 is good to go.
I play with smaller eaws-50cc/14"-16", but I'm not all that knowing.
Think 28-32/skip chain. someone smarter than will chime in soon.

038 Mag2 will pull that 24" just fine... it will also pull a 28" bar very well. Full skip too.

With the 038M2, you don't need full skip on a 24... but, some prefer it anyhow.
