can u modify the muffler nd ports on a 338 xpt i ask one guy on here nd he said no nd didnt give me a reason why u cant mod it

Yes, they can be modded. Heck any muffler can be modded, some eaiser than others. Make sure to retune afterwards. I believe RBtree has some good running 338s...

the guy must have been clueless cuz i figured since u can mod a bigger muffler why not a smaller one it would just be a lot smaller parts involed

I'm not very familiar with the 338 muffler but most drill a few holes in 'em and go from there. Try a search for "338" and see what comes up.

so ur saying just to drill holes in the muffler
it only has about a 1/4" by 1'' opening

I really didn't understand all of it but made do with what I had to read. I could tell somewhat, in all of that stuff, all he wanted was to know how to mod his 338 muffler.
