what is the best way to muffler mod a 372 at home does anyone have an answer
Just out of curiosity, how much louder do these muffler mods make the saw? Is it insignificant or is it SCREAMING after putting in an extra port on the muffler?

That depends on what you call loud. To me they are not that loud but my wife and the neighbors do not agree with that. It does though in fact make quite a bit of a 'noise' difference.
Do you want your saw to have more power, last longer and run cooler reducing the risk of scouring/galling your piston. Noise what noise!!

Or you could listen to Al. Thats what I did to mine the other day. Used a small bit on the dremel, just gotta have stststeady hands. The quickest, cheapest, non visual changing and still be able to use the OEM screen is open up the original.
