The camera's a tad too close to capture that "XP Ping", but you get the idea:

Well, got it tried out today. Runs dam good, vids uploading now. Ran it with semi-chisel and 7T sprocket. The wood is so dirty that's why I used semi chisel, not the fastest cutting, but nice none the less, so not the most impressive vids. Took about 3 cuts before I noticed a drop in cutting speed. Here are some pics until the vid is done, about another 1hr 20min for the first vid of a few.

Road going in to where we're cutting.

Quartering the rounds, just too big to handle, as it is we rolled them out to the road, what a pain.

That's all a guy really needs to do. Chainsaw mufflers are crude at best. Keep the outlet from getting too big and you're good to go.

Ya, that's my way of thinking anyway. It idle's really good, and runs quite nice!

And its much louder then I first thought! I made one cut with no hearing protection, and its pretty darn loud.

Sweet job on the saw Will!!! Those 372s are very impressive saws. Thanks for the videos and pics!

Hurry up with that vid!!!:)

48 minutes remaining!

He'll upload it after he's done uploading the video of him balancing a splitting maul on his chin.

LOL, not likely gona happen, besides, My maul hasn't been used in years. We have a woodsplitter.

Sweet job on the saw Will!!! Those 372s are very impressive saws. Thanks for the videos and pics!

Thanks! I'm glad this one runs real nice, I was fearing my favorite saw was going to take a back seat to the Makita BB, but not anymore!

Nice. Got any vid of it buried with a 28" bar?

No sorry not yet. Maybe next time.

+1. Looks real strong Will. Your gonna end up with ALLOT of wood from that one tree eh?

ahhh, ya! So far we've taken 8 truckloads of wood from that tree, and there is about a 1/3 of a truckload left.

Will,

That's a Semi-chisel?!? DAMN DUDE! that thing hauls some AZZZ!!!!!

very nice!

J

Yup, semi-chisel 7t. I cut up a smaller section first 12' about 20-24" I had to resharpen it, the wood was so freakin dirty.

This thing is a bit of a gas hog too, I'm sure it'll get a little better. Went throught 2.5 tanks in no time.

Next vids.

You can see how dirty the wood is here, watch me brush all the crap and dirt off the log after a few cuts.
