Hey gang...
I've got a 6 h.p. Clinton chainsaw here that I got running perfectly yesterday......although it wont even come close too cutting with the the 361....its a beast of a saw.....I've had several of these...its what dad taught me too cut with...we had one the whole time I grew up and eventually, my uncle aquired 3 more of them, restored them and gave them too us also. The engine has a sticker on the side of the fuel tanks....6 h.p. And ya better be wearing your ear muffs when ya use them because they rumble!
Anyway....I'm thinking that I would like too put a really long bar on this saw....I know I couldnt hog cuts probably but I think with light pressure...it would pull through about anything.....
Will any old bar fit?????....or would it have too be a clinton bar???
Some of these saws had regular bars...and some had the big roller nose....
If anybody here has a big ole bar they aint gonna use that will fit the saw....holler at me!.
