I just I could find some of them. I have a Margay sitting here ready.

Bill

Dang Bill, you must be tripping over stuff around there!I haven't heard of a Margay frame since about 1980 something.A friend of mine had one,you would have thought he hit the lottery when he got it.He ran 5 horse Briggs motors on it.Carts used to be really hot in this area about 25 years ago, kids today don't know what they missed. That frame only had about 1 inch clearance off the ground, after about 2 heats he had to clean the dirt out from under the seat, got awfully uncomfortable otherwise.

I got some youtube video done today. One is of the "like new" homelite 750 that was on ebay a few weeks ago. It was supposed to run like new but didn't. Well anyway after cleaning paint (yes it was a re-paint) out of the carb and off the plastic parts, rebuilding the carb and replacing the torn intake boot it runs pretty good now. I also replaced the hard tip bar with a 36" sprocket tip homelite bar. This video is titled "Hoss's pretty 750".

The other video is of a saw I have wanted for a very long time, a homelite 7-29. This is a 129cc belt reduction drive saw and it is huge. Anyway it runs great and is the nicest example I have personally seen. It is running a 24" hard tip with 1/2 pitch chipper. I love this saw! This saw would be a good comparison with my mac 73. This video is titled "Hoss's 7-29".

I hope you guys like em. I was pretty impressed at how fast the 750 was with chipper chain. The wood was about 24"-26" and very cured.
They look great!
I only have one big saw but I love the old girl (Sp 105)Just the sound of it makes the others pee bar oil.

Hoss Will that 750 outrun an 084 ?

I had two 084's until recently One had about 155psi the other had 160psi. One had .404 chain and one had 3/8. I never ran the 750 in THIS video against them but I have two other stock 750's that consistantly outran those 084's.

I added another vid today. This one is titled "Hoss's new 125" and it is a vid of one of the prettiest 125's I have seen. It is runing .404 chisel skip on a 36" mac bar. These are my second favorite stock saw next to the homelite 750.

Real nice vids there. Those saws are sure beauties.

Yo Hoss, you gonna go deaf from them loud old saws if you don't wear those muffs!
I know a bunch of old loggers that can't hear for crap anymore.

Anyway, keep the vid coming!
