best john deere chainsaw

I just bought one yesterday...a John Deere dealer was clearing out his inventory and I picked up a CS62. I really wanted to get a Husqvarna 372xp, but this saw was literally half the price, but not half the quality.

I'm looking forward to using it this weekend.

I do like the looks of the JD saws. I'd love to have one.

I tried it out a short while today and I like it. Wish I could hav bought 2...certainly the price was right. The dealer had a cs40 available that seemed nice and light. The price I paid was $369 with a 16" blade....not a 372, but should server me well.

not really around here, there are several saw and small engine shops that will work on any brand of saw that comes in the door as long as they get paid.

And likely for less money. Steve

well the 7900 is about $400 more and my 5100 is at the dealer trying to get fixed. I think I will stick with a husky, stihl, or a john deere.
