Black Widows?!

Yeah me too!

I've seen a bunch here at my house in Va. too this year.
Found this one in my wheelbarrow earlier this summerView attachment 255520

and found some while splitting wood last week. I get bit by so many things I don't know what it was most of the time. Haven't had any serious damage yet.
Not sure spraying would help much since I'm basically right next to the woods and don't want to kill everything around. I think I will break down and get the house treated inside though.

Wear gloves when picking logs up.

The wife and I cut wood sunday,it was some I had drug up last fall and had been laying in the pasture since.we found 11 black widows in three truck loads we cut that day.She had nightmares that night.
