broken echo 8000 flywheel fin. what now?

so i had a few beers and decided to take off the flywheel. and broke off a full fin.

recommendations?

It is not going to make a difference. Forget about it.

With a broken fin some people break another on the opposite side to help with the balance, although I doubt it will make any difference, I wouldn't worry about it.

Search for similar threads as there are several. I believe you will discover that those who really know will inform you it is not a big concern.

A few very delicate folks will assure you the balance issues will be unbearable, run it for yourself and you will discover it make very little difference.

Those Echos have a fairly long warranty....I doubt they'd cover it though. lol

I don't think the warranty covers beer related damages. I could have used an umbrella beer damage warranty for the last 20 years though.

Hell......I've seen flywheels with a whole lot more than one broken or missing fin still running.
