How about getting a factory DP muffler cover for that nice saw :)

440/460, 044/046 Dual port cover # 1128 140 0801

I've thought about that TT. I think I'll put one on the one I'm rebuilding now. For the factory DP covers do you have to cut the tabs off the limiters or is there enough adjustment with them on?

I can see the picture on my desktop and the droid. I don't know why it won't show up for you.

I don't know.

I think most need the cut off, it's one of the first things I do to
a saw when I get it. I bought the tool to remove/install the caps

440 and 064

Here is one of my 044's. This was getting ready for the GTG I had earlier this year.

And another one....

One with an 046 top on it. Its an old vid, and the saw runs a "bit" better now....might make a new vid in a day or so.

This was my first 044 (10mm saw).....Ported and muffler modded (My very first porting job). I lent this saw to a good friend and I never saw it again. He just brought me a big stack of $100 bills and told me I better build another one......:hmm3grin2orange:

It pulled well and I only got to run two tanks through it. I was told that it has woke up a bit more even now.

I have built two more 10mm 044's since, that I still have.....This one is a bit prettier.

This one is my extreme budget 044 built from all the leftovers with a cheapo piston and an 046 tank and filter set-up. I'm at a total of about $80 out of pocket on this one.
