And so did I! It's up to 13 tanks of mix and really starting to come alive!

mine startn to look like a complete saw.

my ebay muffler showed up only a few days after i won the bid. and im stihl watn for my 359 muffler that shipped from texas last tuesday. 044 muff came from main much farther away than texas,

i just had to put it together to see what it looked like. i orderd a husky 394 muffler defelctor thats comeing with the 359 muffler. i think its going on the 044 on the other side.

this is kinda a teaser since theres no piston in there.

i realy like this muffler, it was dirt cheap showed up quick and is easily moddable thick to if i decide to do some welding on it.

OK Evan here ya go, :D no pressure..... think of it more as motivation to get that bad boy done.

that thing ported, is it a 044 or 46. looks like shes cutn realy well

i havent decided on bar lenght yet. might just go with a 25" since i have bigger saw now.

or i may go with 28" since i ported 359 runs very good with the 24"

i dunno maybe ill throw the 18" bar thats on the 026 on it after i get running and then decide it might be fire breather and a 28 would match it real well.

ahh i see the vid says 044, i watched it again

im gona have 60cc vs 70cc ported shoot out soon, both wearing 24/25" bars and cutn bar size wood.

i realy feel ive ported this thing better than i did the 359. it should cut much faster. though i now know theres areas that need lookin at inside the 359. it could use more work and still may be gains to be had.

It's ported :D

Here's a stock 660 for compairison... same day, same wood, new off the reel RSC chains..... you can actually see the same knot in the wood after the 660 cut.

I actually took these vids for a 660 I was building and threw the 044 into the mix for fun..... I'd say it held it's own. :D

Here's a ported 660 done by a local shop.

this would be mean little limber, saw feels very nimble and light with the 18" bar on it

Here is my MS460. It was a $250 dollar Craigslist purchase... I put a new clutch cover on it, a HO oiler and a Madsens 3/4 wrap handle bar.... Soon to be freshened up with a DP cover and maybe some porting...

Good looking saw! I finally figured out how to post pictures with the droid.
