I wouldn't start that one without pulling the jug and inspecting everything including the ends of the wrist pin.
That little tidbit on the outside would need to be secured.

Makes you wonder about the assembly person?

We finally got the 6100 in. We received 2 out 3 that we ordered and was trying to take a couple pics to show em off and that is what we found. I am working on posting the rest up now

Are you saying this saw has 200+PSI compression and a .030" squish?

The circle clip ended up being an extra clip. The piston had one on each side. We decided to get some more info out on this model and I'm glad we did. Nates eagle eye picked that clip out trying to look for manufacture marks on the jug. I'm just thankful it didn't make it to a customer. We got to run this model at a local logging expo last weekend and it was a pleasure to run. It made good power and was 5105 smooth. Were just hoping they don't rush manufacturing to much and make minimal mistakes.

Nice clean saw you have there. Congrats! I'm not overly excited about the Husqy 346 XP style rounded bottom, or the wild thing style starter pawls, or the goofy dawg. At least it doesn't have that cussed outboard clutch! Might it de-throne the legendary MS 361?
