Could this be southern pine borer ?

Can't tell if these are entrance or exit holes with all the red sap.
One is covered with sawdust so I'm guessing going into.
2 healthy eastern white pines and I've checked all the others within 50 feet and they are fine.
Right next to each other and of course the bigger one leans over the house.
From the base of the tree up about three feet.
One has about 25 sap balls the smaller tree about 5.

It could be some sort of Ips beetle. My guess is Pitch Mass Borer, dig out the larva & post a pic.
