Craigslist find- Worth it?

basswood--------JUNK!!!! bad burning and as light as balsa--been there--wasnt worth the time

Ahh man, I got screwed once already this year with a load of Bass. Some lawn and garden guy was calling around looking for someone to dump a load of wood off- he said one of his friends cut the tree down for his customer and it was up to him to get rid of it. Said he didn't know what kind of wood it was, but that it was a pretty big tree..... I said go ahead and dump it in my driveway.

It was a huge stinkin pile of crappy basswood.

Shoot- if you guys think this might be a basswood tree, then screw it, it might not be worth the trip to find out. Wish the guy knew what he had.
