I had a few squirrels do that to my gas cans I left at the farm in the barn. Bastards. I am now trying to switch over to steel cans. Trying to locate some empty/used race gas cans from klotz or vp race fuels. If not I may buy a 5 gallon can of Sef from baileys.

You needed a vent on that damn epa can anyway. The critter made it betterer,

I bet "no spill Jill's" jugs are nice to chew on! Just call me a squirrel!

Watch Duck Dynasty "leave it to beavers" episode. I only wish I could launch such a full scale assault on squirrels.

I had some rats eat holes in two brand new marine gas cans in one night. I was keeping corn around back of my shed for the deer, and didn't know I had a problem until it was too late. Rodents have to chew to wear their teeth down, because they never stop growing. They love braided copper wires too.

Hi Mr. Squirrel here. I just wanted to say sorry for all of the chewing. I promise to never do it again.
