I seriously think a 661 with a 10 or 12 pin would beat an 026 with both saws running 16- 20 inch bars. Though the big powerhead would certainly not be practicle, just a blast.
That's how Dexter Day likes to set up his saws.Works on the 660 also View attachment 462033

14If you had a 9 pin, I'd bet it would go pretty fast. Even a 10 maybe with a bar mod.
Will it cut any better than a mini mac?Works on the 660 also View attachment 462033

No, but the 660 will hold a bigger boat.
I doubt a stock 661 would even come close to runnin a 12 pin.I seriously think a 661 with a 10 or 12 pin would beat an 026 with both saws running 16- 20 inch bars. Though the big powerhead would certainly not be practicle, just a blast.
QTLANo, but the 660 will hold a bigger boat.
Fat bottom Stihl's they make the picco chain go round ..........♫According to this thread's title, I think you should have put that bar on a 441 as they already have a fat bottom. It would be like tight white pants on a 300 +pound gal. Seriously, I bet that chain just cannot get a big enough bite to cut well with that powerhead.
I personally have not, it fits a stihl rim nice,i have not tried others though, some guys insist you need a picco rim ,as much as i use it ,very little ,just fenceposts and carpentry i do not see an issue, wide open on the 440 i heard no binding or skipping noisesHey Brian, any issues with running the Picco on a standard 3/8 rim?
No I don't wanna do it but now that the fat is in the fire what kind of bar mod would you be droolin on.If you had a 9 pin, I'd bet it would go pretty fast. Even a 10 maybe with a bar mod.
Does Oregon Make a 9 Pin Rim ?? This would wake up a sleepy Stihl 056 Mag II (for entertainment) ..No I don't wanna do it but now that the fat is in the fire what kind of bar mod would you be droolin on.
