Found a Sachs-Dolmar 114, 18" bar on Craigslist for $150. Is this a good saw? I'm an occasional cutter, saw will cut less than 5 cord per year. No idea what sort of shape it's in, just pic where it looked clean. I've heard good things about Dolmar in general, but is this a good model?

There as good as any Stihl or Husky you can get.
I have a 120S same series, starts on the second pull every time, solid built powerful machine, parts are redly available, the only thing I found was as there a pro machine the sprockets get worn and might need replacement and any older machine is probly due for a good service.

The 114 is a very nice saw.
Great power for what it is.
Just a tad heavy compaired to
todays saws.
