This is smaller and less powerful then your 421. It is lighter but I doubt it would be better other than a bit of fuel economyI'll prolly have my 421's catalytic convertor deleted and the saw retuned, then budget for a bigger Dolmar strato but this sure is tempting.

Looks interesting - I could not open the links, but it would appear the transfer entrance from the case is at the front under the exhaust port. The reed valve is under the carb intake and that must be feeding up to the top of the transfers.
I can't get it to open.
