Echo chainsaw CS 280E

Hi there, Peter this end retired Government employee, refurbishing an Echo CS 280e chainsaw. I am trying to locate a carburettor for this model or an aftermarket carbi that will do the same job. I am informed that arbourists in the past used the 280e as a clean up saw?? So I am hoping an arbourist may have a 280e tucked away that has an intact carbi? I reside in Alicesprings Australia. Do you need a carb or will a carb kit work? I found the zama carb number on another post and did a search on eBay and at least found carb kits. zama carb C1S K1D is what I used.
