Friend of mine has a 028 super. Almost mint condition. The bar has Stihl RLC on it. What the heck is RLC?

No, RLC in the same lettering as STIHL is written. He bought it off the shelf new like that.

On the bar, both sides, White bar, black lettering, looked factory. I should have taken a pic while I was there. Just curious. I'm kinda lusting after the saw. I'd like to have a Super in the condition it's in.

Red Letter Communication ?????????????....?

Red Letter Communications... yah. From the video library ection on the Stihl web site, it says: "Please note that all billing and payments are handled directly between the customer and Red Letter Communications."

But I doubt that is it... I had an XX bar from Stihl that was to commemorate 20 years of something. FarmBoss and WoodBoss are common on their bars as well. Here are some possible acronym explainations:

Really Lousy Chipper
Right, Left, Center
Rotten Liquid Cesspool
Royal Light Chainsaw
Rotating Lazy Camshaft
