Ok, now I am looking at another saw, damn CAD.

Right now my dealer has a good used(1 year old) 395xp that I can get a hold of, or I am looking at a new 372xpg. Im not sure if i really would see any benefit with the 395xp over my 2186 for my use. I normally run a 36" bar on this saw.

The 372 would run a 24"-28" bar. Where as if I go with the 395 it would wear the 36, and my 2186 would wear a 28"-30".

Just wondering what some of you guys would do. What would you pick and why?

I would prefer the 395 for a 36" bar. 30"-32" for the 2186. Yes, you need another saw

Well on the plus side, if I get the 395 it may hold me back long enough for a new at 70cc to arise.

Those numbers sound nice, but we can't tell you which to buy bc we have no idea what you need the most.

There is no real need for either one. Most of my needs are primarily covered with what I have for saws right now. I was just at my dealer and had been thinking of a replacement for the worn out 365 I have and then he told me about the 395 he had.

I'd say 395 but a 372 would be good to cover the lower end of things.

I have a 394 and have been wondering how I ever got anything cut before I bought it. You would like the 395 I have no doubt. Then you will want it ported cause that's what I'm thinking now.

Jacobj has a nice 395 in the trading post. He is well respected if I was in the market for one i would look no further.
